The mid ground between the R3000 and wide format desktop model such as the Pro 4880 or 4900. Popular with serious enthusiasts and light commercial use.
This model was superseded by the Pro3880 but the image quality is very similar.
This model uses the Precision Colors E9AK4 inkset.
The refillable cartridges require the use of original Epson chips. So do not dispose of the original cartridges before retaining the chips.
Note: The Pro3880 uses a different inkset.
