CLI-65 Chip Resetter- None available but you can disable chip functions

At this time nobody has been able to crack the encryption that Canon has put into the CLI-65 chip. It is doubtful whether or not one will EVER be available. In order to refill the user will have to override the chips or disable the ink level monitor. This is a simple process.

When this is done, after refilling, the printer will ask if you purchased this used tank, and you will answer no. It will then allow printing. Therefter when more printing is performed, it will then signal another ink out detect and then follow the sequence of screens. The printer itself will lead you through the process.
The steps encountered are shown below. After the 5th screen, the printer will report "Processing" and will begin printing.

Note Tabs below to go to other areas
The printer indicates that the MAGENTA and YELLOW tank is LOW.
You must continue to use the printer.
No need for any action as yet.
When the printer returns the message that ink may have run out, you refill the tank.

The printer will continue to work when it is put in but ask about whether or it was purchased.
If using brand new tanks, you will transfer the chip and then fill the tank.

Further printing will eventually bring up this screen. You again acknowledge. Just follow what the display says.
After pressing the button shown for 5 seconds, the printer will display processing and come alive again. Henceforth, it will not bother you about ink anymore. You simply make sure that there is always ink in the cartridge. This will need to be done 8 times for each cartridge as its' turn comes up.
