Collection: Epson SureColor P400 Ink Refill

The P400 is a pigment printer, and our PCHG2 set is pigment to match. It covers all eight T324 cartridges: Photo Black, Matte Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Red, Orange and Gloss Optimizer.

The Gloss Optimizer keeps the gloss level even across the print. The Matte Black has its own cartridge, so there is no black ink switching when you move to matte paper.

No modification. You refill our refillable P400 cartridges, not the original Epson ones.

Prefilled cartridges from the Premium Kit are ready to go: remove the air vent plug and install. Empty cartridges from the Standard Kit are primed once before first use.

When a cartridge reads empty, remove the refill plug, fill it with ink, replace the plug and put the cartridge back like a normal cartridge.

Before each fill, gently agitate the bottle or rotate it end over end a number of times so the pigment is evenly mixed.

Our P400 cartridges have auto reset chips. Once the printer has counted a chip down to empty, remove the cartridge, refill it and put it back, and the chip reads full again.

Removing the cartridge before the printer reports it empty does not reset the chip. The printer and chip control the timing.

Yes. We offer free custom ICC profiles for the P400, made in-house for a range of papers, including Red River. They are on our P400 ICC profiles page.

Profiles are not required, but they are the best way to get the most out of this printer and ink.

Yes. As long as a cartridge never empties completely, its reservoir keeps an ink level and it prints without re-priming.

When one cartridge reads empty, refill it and top up the others at the same time. Topping up does not reset the chips, but it protects the printhead if an ink estimate is off.

Almost certainly not. Run a nozzle check, then a head cleaning, and let the printer rest a few minutes before checking again. A single weak channel often clears after an overnight rest and one more cleaning.

If a cartridge ran empty, refill it and prime it again before cleaning. Printing regularly keeps pigment from settling in the nozzles.
