You're in the right place

If this site looks different from the one you remember, that's because it is. In October 2026 we moved precisioncolors.com to a new platform. The company, the inks and the people behind them have not changed.

• Same Precision Colors. We have been making OEM-matching refill inks since 2005.
• Same inks. The formulations you have been buying are the ones sold here.
• Same team. Orders still ship from our shop in Northbrook, Illinois, and support is still support@precisioncolors.com.

A note from Matt

I took over Precision Colors from Mike in 2025. The old site served customers well for a long time, but it was built on tools that were getting hard to maintain, and it made simple things, like finding the right ink for your printer, harder than they should be. The new site is the first big step in the next phase of the business: easier ordering, better guides, and room for the new printers we are adding. Mike's original write-ups are not going away either. We are bringing them over so his notes stay available.

Thanks for sticking with us through the change. If anything here is confusing or you cannot find something, email me and the team and we will sort it out.

What changed

• Shop by printer. Pick your printer from the menu and you will see only the inks, kits, chips and accessories that fit it.
• Starter Kits. Getting Started Kits are now called Starter Kits. Same idea: everything you need for a first refill in one box.
• Customer accounts. Create an account to see your orders and reorder in a couple of clicks. Order history from the old site will be brought over in the next few days. Once it is, your past orders will show up under your email when you sign in.
• International shipping. We now ship to Canada and most other countries, with a choice of speeds and duty options at checkout. Details are on the International & Canada Shipping page.
• ICC profiles. Free profiles now have a page for each printer. Start at Free ICC Profiles.
• Guides. Refill instructions have been rebuilt as web pages that print cleanly. Find them under Guides, or start with Getting Started with Ink Refilling.

Looking for something from the old site?

• Old links and bookmarks redirect to the matching page here. If one does not, use the search at the top of the page.
• Product names have been cleaned up, so an item may be listed under a slightly different name. Searching by printer model (for example, PRO-1000) is the fastest way to find it.
• A few legacy products have been retired. If you cannot find what you used to order, email us and we will point you to the current equivalent.
