Epson T552 Compatible Pigment Black Pigment Ink for ET-8550 / ET-8500

Our inks are color-matched against the original manufacturer inks, so your prints stay close to what you are used to. For the most accurate color on a specific paper, use one of our free ICC profiles where they are available for your printer.

Each ink is formulated for the printers and cartridges it is listed for, and made to work with your machine. Use the ink listed for your printer and follow the refill guide.

The Epson ET-8550 and ET-8500 were designed for dye ink in every color except Black, which is pigment. Our pigment inks are made for these printers, but running pigment ink where the printer expects dye carries some risk, such as more frequent head cleaning or clogging. If you choose pigment ink, you take on that risk, and Precision Colors is not responsible for printer problems that result. If you would rather stay with the ink type Epson designed the printer for, choose our dye inks instead.
